Allegiances are shifting among the Clans of warrior cats that roam the forest. With tensions so delicately balanced, former friends can become enemies overnight, and some cats are willing to kill to get what they want.

Fireheart is determined to find out the truth about the mysterious death of brave ThunderClan warrior Redtail. But as he searches for answers, he uncovers secrets that some believe would be better left hidden.

MY REVIEW:

Oh my gosh, this series!! It's like I'm a kid again. I'm totally loving these Warrior cats. I started off reading this series aloud to my younger daughter, but we ended up reading this book separately because she read ahead of me!

I've long had my suspicions about Tigerclaw, and all is finally revealed in this third installment of the series.

I think it's sweet how the elders enjoy Cloudkit. I hope he turns out like his uncle!

My heart broke at what happened with Graystripe and Silverstream. I'm sure that what transpired will have ramifications for both ThunderClan and RiverClan, and I'm anxious to see how that plays out in future books.

With so much happening, I found this book to be unputdownable! The ending had me immediately reaching for the next book in the series, Rising Storm.

MY RATING:

5 stars!! I loved it and will likely re-read it. Highly recommended if you enjoy MG/YA fantasy.
